Prof. B.S. Rajput controversy

A lack of oversight and a lack of proper training for scientists has led to the rise of plagiarism and research misconduct in India.-Wikipedia.

One such high profile case was that of Prof. B.S Rajput, the Ex Vice Chancellor of Kumaon University and his colleagues in the field of Theoretical Physics. Various Physicists had alleged that some of his papers which were claimed  to be authored by him were reported earlier by other researchers.

    1. I think Prof Rajput is just trying to put blame on his student to get out of the situation unharmed.

    1. We should avoid the 'COPY-PASTE' attitude and try to write things in our own language after reading from the resources.

  11. We also need to have the habit of acknowledging the resources that we use

  12. Yes,we can do that and we also need to know we can use resources for educational purpose only this won't be plagiarism because it is counted as plagiarism only if money is earned through it that people do for commercial purpose.
